Four Color Marking

The TherMark laser marking process is not limited to black and single color marking on hard surfaces. Our technology can provide laser owners with the ability to print full color images for decorative purposes on ceramic, porcelain, glass and stone.

Through an exclusive licensing arrangement with Permanent Impressions, Inc., the TherMark process can now be used to create beautiful works of art for architects, builders, designers and homeowners.

Our four-color process works much the same way as commercial CMYK four-color printing. Four differently colored inks are, in turn, applied with an airbrush, laser marked using proprietary software, and washed off with water. After all four colors have been bonded, the final result is a permanent, full color, photographic quality image. The total process takes approximately 60 minutes for a 12” x 12” surface.
